Which Edition Fits Your Business?

Three editions — Core, Standard, and Enterprise — explained for small businesses. Start with who you are and what problem you're solving, not a feature checklist.

Inventory Pro Core

You're the team drowning in spreadsheets.

A single location, a small team, and your first real inventory system beyond the spreadsheet.

The shelf says one thing, your spreadsheet says another, and the last-minute count always happens while the customer is on hold. You don't need a warehouse management course — you need one system that everyone actually uses.

One shared count

Every screen — desktop and phone — shows the same current quantities. What you scan is what everyone else sees, no syncing, no 'who has the latest version?'

Phone camera scanning

Point your phone at a barcode and the app reads it, right on the device. No separate scanner hardware to buy.

Labels you can print today

Print barcode labels for shelves and items, then scan them to receive, issue, and move stock without typing part numbers.

Basic ordering built in

Sales orders and purchase orders from day one, so stock leaving the door and arriving on the truck is both tracked.

A mobile app for the floor

Receiving, issues, counts, and lookups run on any phone or tablet, not just a dedicated terminal.

Bring what you already have

Import your items from Excel or CSV and replace the stack of sheets with one source of truth.

Inventory Pro Standard

You're the business that outgrew the basics.

Multi-location operations that need restocking suggestions, dashboards, and integrations working across every site.

Two locations, an online store plus a counter, and a SKU list in the thousands means more moving parts — and reordering has become a guess that occasionally costs real money.

Unlimited warehouses

Track stock across every location with transfers, per-warehouse views, and location-level detail inside each one.

Reorder decisions made for you

Min/max levels, lead times, and demand history generate suggested reorder points instead of a gut feel on Friday afternoon.

Dashboards and a bulk editor

KPIs at a glance, plus mass updates so a price change or supplier swap applies across your whole catalog in one pass.

Integrations that match your stack

Sage 50, QuickBooks Desktop, UPS WorldShip, and WooCommerce (items, orders, stock, images) — available from $40/month.

Cycle counts that stay honest

Scheduled and ad-hoc counts with multiple sampling methods keep accuracy high without shutting down the floor.

Make it yours

Custom fields, screen layouts, and approval workflows that match how your operation actually works, not the other way around.

Inventory Pro Enterprise

You're the operation whose IT requirements come first.

Organizations that need dedicated or self-hosted hosting, single sign-on, API access, or priority support.

Identity, hosting, and data access are decided by your IT or compliance team, not by whoever runs the warehouse. You need the software to fit that infrastructure, not the other way around.

Your hosting, your rules

Run on dedicated cloud hosting, or self-host on your own Windows Server with SQL Server and keep everything behind your own firewall.

Single sign-on

Active Directory, Okta, and Smart Card / CAC authentication so staff sign in with the identity your IT team already manages.

API access included

The REST API ships with the edition, so Shopify, Amazon, and eBay stores connect on your schedule and your terms.

Priority support

A direct line when it matters, on top of our regular Monday–Friday hours and after-hours emergency support for outages.

The full module set

Everything in Standard plus the complete toolkit — asset management, leasing, work orders, jobs, and manufacturing.

Licensing that scales with you

Concurrent licensing with no user ceiling — adding staff or shifts never means buying a license for every new hire.

Growing Is Not a Migration Project

Your data comes with you

Move from Core to Standard with your items, history, and settings intact. New capabilities unlock; nothing has to be rebuilt.

Concurrent licensing at every step

Because you pay for active sessions, adding people or shifts never means buying a license per named person.

Help when you need it

Training, data migration, and setup help are available as services — see Services and Training.

Questions Small Businesses Actually Ask

Do I need to install anything?

No. Core and Standard run in any modern browser — nothing to install on computers, phones, or tablets. Enterprise can run on dedicated cloud hosting or be self-hosted on your own Windows Server and SQL Server if your IT team needs that.

What happens if I outgrow my tier?

Move up when you're ready. Your data and item records carry over, and we can help with the transition. Standard unlocks unlimited warehouses, restocking automation, dashboards, and more, with SSO available on Standard and Enterprise alike. Enterprise adds dedicated or self-hosted hosting, included API access, and priority support.

Can I use my phone as a scanner?

Yes. Camera scanning runs locally on your device — point your phone at a barcode and the app reads it, no separate scanner hardware required. When there's no signal, transactions queue on the device and sync when you reconnect.

What happens if my internet connection drops?

Camera scanning keeps working on the device, and the transactions you make are queued and synced back when you reconnect. To be straight with you: the app isn't designed to run offline indefinitely — the queue handles short interruptions, like a spotty signal in the back of the warehouse.

How does user licensing work?

Concurrent licensing, not named seats. You pay for active sessions, so a second shift can share the same licenses and you're not managing a per-person seat count as the team grows.

Which integrations are included, and what do they cost?

Integrations are available from $40 per month. That includes EDI X12, cXML, Sage 50 US Desktop, QuickBooks Desktop, UPS WorldShip (order and address sync out, tracking numbers back), SourceVend, and WooCommerce (items, orders, stock, images). Shopify, Amazon, and eBay connect through the REST API.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. Start with the 60-day free trial, then choose monthly or annual billing on the cloud editions. Cloud clients also receive after-hours emergency support for outages.

When can I reach support?

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST. Cloud clients also get after-hours emergency support for outages.

Still not sure which edition?

Start the trial on Core or Standard and you'll see the difference within a day. Enterprise starts with a conversation — talk to us and we'll point you at the right edition.

Done with Spreadsheets?

Inventory Pro replaces your spreadsheet. Sign up, import your items, and start scanning with your phone.
